The Cedar Lane Management Group wants everyone to be able to discover the shops, restaurants, services and events of the Cedar Lane Business District in Teaneck, New Jersey. We are committed to making www.cedarlane.net usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We test pages on desktop and mobile with automated accessibility checks and review headings, color contrast, text alternatives for images, link names and keyboard navigation.

What we have in place

• Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
• A clear heading structure on every page and descriptive link and button names.
• Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast.
• Forms with visible labels and spam protection that does not require solving puzzles.
• An accessibility toolbar that lets you adjust text size, contrast and other display settings.

Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties, such as business-supplied photos, maps and embedded tools, and may not fully meet our standard. We work to improve these where we can.
